1. Accepting these terms

The Cigar Events is operated by The Cigar Guys. By using the site — browsing listings or submitting an event — you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy.

2. What the service is — and is not

The Cigar Events is a free directory of cigar-related events. It does not sell tobacco, does not sell tickets, does not promote smoking, and is not affiliated with any manufacturer, retailer or venue. Listings are informational only: events change, sell out and get canceled without notice — always confirm details with the venue or organizer before making plans.

3. Listings and accuracy

Listings come from our own curation and from public submissions, and pass through automated checks that can be wrong in both directions. We may edit, decline or remove any listing at any time, including past events kept for the record. We make no promise that any listing is accurate, current or complete.

4. Submitting an event

Submissions are free and require no account. By submitting a listing you confirm the information is accurate to your knowledge, that you have the right to share it, and you grant The Cigar Guys a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to display and adapt it for operating the directory. Submissions publish immediately after an automated check and are public.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

submit false, misleading, unlawful or non-cigar-related listings;
submit spam, advertising for unrelated products, or offensive content;
scrape the directory to build a competing product;
probe, overload or interfere with the service or its checks.

6. Intellectual property

The site, its design and its software belong to The Cigar Guys. Event names, venue names and brands belong to their respective owners and are used descriptively only.

7. Third-party links

Listings may link to ticketing and organizer sites. Those services are not ours; their terms and policies apply to your use of them.

8. A free service, offered as is

The Cigar Events is provided free of charge, “as is” and “as available.” There is no uptime guarantee, no support commitment and no service level of any kind.

9. Disclaimer of warranties

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including accuracy, reliability, merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, The Cigar Guys’ total liability arising out of the service is capped at one hundred U.S. dollars ($100). We are not liable for losses caused by reliance on any listing, including travel to an event that changed or never took place.

11. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify The Cigar Guys against claims arising from your misuse of the service or from content you submit without the right to do so.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, and Florida courts have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms; the date above changes when we do, and material changes will be noted on the site. Continued use after changes means you accept them.
